Collins York is looking for a motivated and energetic person to join our 2nd or 3rd shift operation.  All work is done in a clean, climate controlled facility where we put safety and quality first in everything we do.

*** Eligible candidates may receive a sign-on bonus of $2,000 to be paid out in two $1,000 increments the first $1000 after successfully completing your 90 day probation period and the second $1000 after one year of continuous employment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Selected candidate will operate CNC lathes, mills, grinders & other specialized CNC & manual equipment and/or perform finish work and marking of piece parts in various stages of production.

  • Machinist will be expected to set-up and run machines on a wide variety of operations involving multiple machines that convert raw materials to precision semi-finished goods within print tolerance specification.

  • Required to obtain inspection certification through on-the-job training & testing.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent

  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience operating CNC Machines, including setup.

  • Experience with measurement equipment, i.e. gauges, calipers, etc.

  • Experience with basic hand tools.

  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn and use multiple computer applications (including email, internet, and other job-specific applications).

  • Basic math skills, including adding and subtracting decimals

  • Ability to read, interpret and follow blueprints.
