The Product Lifecycle Senior Manager is part of a collaborative team working on rigorous, scientific, cutting edge products and systems flying all around the world.
The Senior Manager is constantly challenged by a dynamic and fluid problem space with a forward-looking and future-reaching team building and evolving products which will scale with the company.
The Senior Manager’s team’s contributions come from combining their knowledge of engineering products and understanding of statistics to help build the first end-to-end digital thread for a suite of Collins Aerospace products.
Lead a team of Data Analysts to build the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for new data products and platforms.
Establish a comprehensive and detail-oriented understanding of the needs of your internal and external customers
Collaborate closely with engineering, project management and partner teams to foster the best outcomes for all customers and stakeholders
Use metrics and quantitative analysis to measure product utility, gain insights, find opportunities, and build consensus on product vision, strategy and roadmap
Communicate vision, strategy and progress to customers and leadership
Bachelor’s degree (typically in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations OR
Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience OR
In absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience is required
Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder
7 + years developing highly successful technology products as a Product Manager
Experience with product ownership and driving a product vision, strategy and roadmap, including functional requirements gathering and prioritization
Experience leading a team owning initiatives and accountable for success
Experience with operational and project responsibilities
Strong Emphasis in Data Engineering, Data Science or Data Analytics
