Collins Aerospace is looking for an experienced Integrated Logistics Support (ILS)  professional with deep knowledge and highly developed technical expertise in Materials & Logistics, demand forecasting, provisioning and project spares deficiencies, providing the information and adjustment recommendations to the customer in a timely manner. 

Primary Responsibilities:

Responsible for reviewing and analyzing customer requirements and communicating with the customer to define new requirements and scope, while managing and reporting on data/material. Utilize SAP and other systems to determine and manage requirements.

Perform Demand forecasting, provisioning and project spares deficiencies, providing the information and adjustment recommendations to the customer in a timely manner. 

Manage and support Sales order entries and all steps necessary to maintain accurate systems planning, allowing Operations to operate to schedule. Manage customer owed material and systems, through in stock process, repair cycles, etc. 

Manage internal/external auditing of Customer inventory and systems.  Manage ILS Planning for: facility requirements; classified material; support equipment; safety and environmental.  Develop growing needs for Bonded storage and present recommendations to management.

• Provides logistics documentation to establish the range and depth of spares, tools, test equipment and related manuals to be deployed and stocked.

• Reviews configuration changes to evaluate impact on logistics deployment.

• Plans, schedules and manages the efficient movement of material from receiving, or the warehouse, to production.

• Manages material inventory, supplier integration strategies (VMI/3PL/supermarkets) and import/export controls.

• Partners with Industrial Engineering on packaging strategies.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of relevant experience OR
  • Advance degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR
  • In absence of a degree, 11 years of relevant experience is required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Military logistics and/or depot experience preferred or similar background.
  • Must have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance.  Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements
