This is an opportunity to join F-15 Programs Team as a Program Cost Schedule and Control Analyst supporting the F-15 Sustainment finance team. The product area includes an efficient and effective team that relies on individual drive and integrity for success. Program culture is of high priority in this environment and it is expected that you will be capable of collaboration, building business relationships, and trust and rapport with business contacts within the program and customer teams.

You will be the primary financial support within the program and this role will require a highly motivated individual to drive tasks to completion. Professional and effective communication skills are required due to the frequent interaction with program and functional leadership at varying levels. The position requires a strong knowledge of Finance, Accounting and Business Development, as well as performs analysis and prepares reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines. The analyst will participate in the preparation of budgets and schedules for all contract work and will perform and/or assists in financial analysis, such as AOP (Annual Operating Plan) and LRO (Long-Range Planning) development, SROs (Short Range Outlooks), funding profiles, forecast and variance analysis. Tasks will include:
  • Working closely with various functional organizations during the EAC (Estimate At Complete) development process, as well as monitoring these organizations’ performance against agreed upon budgets
  • Providing support of month-end close financial planning activities
  • Frequent interaction with various functions (including Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations)
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis of labor and material for current and future orders
  • Risk and opportunity valuation and impact on contract profitability
  • Driving financial start up activities and proposal support for new captures
  • Assist in business case analysis in support of Mission Capabilities pipeline
  • Ad-hoc requests

Required Skills:
  • Typically 5+ years of related work experience
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Strong analytical capability and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access).
  • In depth knowledge of key financial systems and tools (SAP, MPM, BW, Excel, PowerPoint)
Desired Skills:
  • Knowledge of SAP.
  • MS Microsoft Project, Microsoft Access and Information Systems proficiency.
  • Experience on Sustainment Programs in a multi-site environment, with external reported programs
  • Knowledge of FAR/DFARS, Government web based tools (EDA, iRAPT).
  • Healthy understanding of different program types such as FPI (Fixed Price Incentive), FFP (Firm Fixed Price), and other incentive structures desired
  • Ability to work alone and on teams in a results oriented environment to develop solutions for complex problems that will gain desired outcomes
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of earned value management
  • Solid understanding of financial planning and analysis
Required Education (including Major):
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
