The Brand Strategy role is responsible for developing and executing strategies to optimize the Raytheon Technologies brand and position the company as a technology and innovation leader, and trusted partner. The role demands a high level of collaboration, working closely with internal stakeholders, internal creative teams and external agency partners.


Responsibilities:
Recommend, develop and execute strategies for branding, advertising and storytelling to optimize the Raytheon Technologies brand.
Partner across Corporate Communications and the businesses to deliver brand strategies to campaigns and major efforts
Use data analytics to develop and refine our creative approaches.
Discover and share the latest innovations within branding, advertising and storytelling.
Work with internal and external agencies to continue to the build out of a Corporate digital asset system for brand assets that span graphics, photography, video, iconography, audio, trade show and experiential support, etc., for use by all global stakeholders.
Lead teams for special projects and products, like company positioning efforts and the annual financial and corporate social responsibility reports.
Lead the development of the RTX brand narrative, voice and tone.
Liaise with the business brand leads to create collaborative approaches for corporate brand unity with distinction for the businesses.
Work closely with the research team to lead brand research efforts to understand the reputation and attributes of the RTX brand and its businesses among key audiences. Use findings to help shape advertising and storytelling efforts.
Work closely with the brand identity manager and internal creative partners to ensure the RTX and business brands are aligned throughout the organization.

Desired Skills:
12+ years of brand communications or marketing experience.
Strong collaborator whose knowledge and approach motivates others to seek their help and follow their guidance.
Experience in managing and directing creative agencies and outside partners to achieve high-quality work on tight deadlines.
Adept at performing in an entrepreneurial-style work environment with minimal day-to-day direction.
Proven and highly efficient project management capabilities, including developing and executing plans, tracking progress, solving problems, mitigating risks and achieving goals – on time, on budget and on brand.
Experience leading integrated initiatives in a globally diverse organization.
Strong creative, visual, written and verbal communications skills.
Demonstrated brand and campaign planning capability.
Experience in reputational research.
Branding and reputation management experience.
Ability to work within a highly matrixed organization.
Executive presence with demonstrated experience in effective engagement with senior leaders.
Demonstrated strategic thinking, acute attention to detail and outstanding time management skills.
High degrees of success in collaboration, teambuilding and leadership.

Required Education (including Major):

Undergraduae degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or similar disciplines. Master's degree pefereed.
