Summary

The Associate Director, Information Security Programs is responsible to drive strategic programs and transformation initiatives for information security across the organization. This role will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the cyber organization, business units, and functional partners to deliver on program outcomes. This role reports into the Executive Director, Information Security Strategy & Transformation and will be looked upon to lead complex, large-scale programs that ultimately will drive security culture change throughout the enterprise.

Job Duties & Responsibilities     

  • Lead, own, and run large-scale security transformation projects and programs that directly align to the organization’s mission and maturity goals. Requires establishing a program strategy and outcome/success measures, engaging appropriate stakeholders, building a plan to drive progress, manage program budgets and resources, and successfully execute. 
  • Partner with leadership and key stakeholders across enterprise functions and business units to ensure alignment across transformation initiatives.
  • Effectively manage communications and adoption of initiatives across relevant stakeholders (from senior leaders to technical SMEs) to ensure sustained change. Includes developing stakeholder briefings that succinctly convey program scope, objectives, and status.
  • Establish and maintain program metrics, goals & scorecards.
  • Manage matrixed resources to accomplish key deliverables.
  • Lead and execute on a wide variety of initiatives to support the cyber leadership team priorities.
  • Provide leadership which facilitates accomplishment of RTX's Diversity Objectives by ensuring support systems and practices are in place to provide all employees the opportunity to contribute to their full potential, by identifying and eliminating the obstacles and barriers which prevent this from occurring.
  • In all areas of responsibility, the incumbent is responsible for providing full compliance with the "RTX Policy Statement on Contracting with the United States Government" and the "RTX Code of Ethics", which include, ensuring subordinate staff are aware of the policies and that their responsibilities and actions comply and support these policies.
  • In all areas of responsibility which have a direct impact on the health and safety of employees and the environment, assure that appropriate safeguards are in place and that the RTX Policy and Principles on Human and Natural Resource Protection is fully supported and implemented.

Education:

Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience.

Work could involve ITAR-regulated projects.
