Job Summary:
As a part of Supplier Quality, the Incoming Inspection team is responsible for evaluating and assessing the quality of the material being delivered to Raytheon by our suppliers.

NOTE - this position can be a Sr. Analyst, Supplier Quality Engineer or a Principal Analyst, Supplier Quality Engineer based on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and educational requirements of this position.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
  • Investigate and resolve issues associated with non-conforming material
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities
  • Support activities associated with driving departmental metrics
  • Work closely with inspectors to ensure availability of effective processes and tools

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • 2 years in quality engineering, manufacturing, or supply chain discipline
  • BS degree in Engineering, Science, Math or other related technical degree
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Experience with data analyzes, such as cycle time, efficiency, capacity, and utilization
  • Experience in utilizing Microsoft Office Tools such as (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access)
  • Ability to read mechanical and/or electrical drawings and interpret/create requirements

  • Experience working in an operations/manufacturing environment that required decisive and timely decision making.
  • Experience in managing multiple priorities and maintaining deadlines
  • Experience in working as part of a cross functional business team
  • Strong presentation skills and proven success in communication to all level audiences
  • Experience in DoD environment, especially as it pertains to procedure creation
  • Understanding of 6 sigma tools
  • General knowledge of aerospace / defense products and systems technologies
