The Production Control Stores Supervisor is responsible for all Inventory/Material Movement and Management and various factory support related activities within a production or depot manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will report to the Production Control Manager and be accountable for the daily management and direction of up to 7 Warehouse Identification Production Specialists (WIPS). The Production Control Stores Supervisor will be tasked to define clear operational schedules, priorities, goals, and collaborate with functional and factory management to ensure the factories have the necessary MRO, Kanban, chemicals and material required to allow for continuous manufacturing and delivery of line-flow or end-item products.
This position involves direct support of Factory, Stores and inventory management activities and requires spending significant amounts of time in and around the factory areas and other managed store’s locations. The candidate must be capable and willing to work extended hours (when required) in a fast-paced deadline driven environment. The ideal candidate will possess the demonstrated skills and experience necessary to perform in a manufacturing leadership role.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Factory and Functional Leadership interface and interactions
Manage and lead up to 7 Warehouse Identification Production Specialists (WIPS)
Labor Performance Management
Maintaining/Reporting Production Control Stores Warehouse Metrics
Ensuring timely completion of Cycle counting requirements and activities Communication of customer requirements
Interface with other Stores Supervisors, Production Control Personnel as well as Value Stream Leaders across multiple shifts.
Perform a wide variety of sequencing, planning, scheduling, coordinating and reporting tasks in support of the manufacturing workflow
Provide the required resources (facilities, processes, equipment, training, etc.) to ensure all employees work in a safe working environment
Provide communications as directed or required by higher level management to ensure employees are aware of pertinent organizational or customer information
Ensure compliance to all pertinent operating procedures and work instructions
Approve timecards and manage bargaining unit workforce attendance
Managing and Storing Age Dated material and Hazardous Materials
Coordination of kitting of production inventory per MRP
Continually look for and implement process improvements
General Warehousing responsibilities
Ability to understand and work in database systems
Ability to set and maintain daily goals and work assignments
Strong interpersonal skills
Knowledge of preparing and maintaining compliance for audits
Ability to coordinate and lead multifunction teams
The candidate must be able to obtain or currently hold a DoD Secret Clearance
An advanced degree in a related field may be substituted for 2 additional years of experience.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor's Degree or additional 2 years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or military environment may be substituted for each year of college. (8 years without a bachelors) Preferred degrees: Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Operations Management
Five (5) years’ total combined experience in any of the following: Supply Chain, Production and/or and Planning Control, MRP, Inventory Management, Capacity Planning, Property Management, JIT Concepts, Master Production Scheduling, or Delivery Administration
Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Value:
