Software Engineer I
Raytheon Technologies is currently searching for a Software Engineer. The successful candidate’s primary role will be Tier 2 and Tier 3 software support to the S2P (Software Servers Platform). This includes software discrepancy (DR) investigation and corrections, and deployment support.

Location: Springfield, VA

Clearance Requirement:

• Must currently have and maintain an active Top Secret/SCI clearance

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of full life-cycle software engineering practices and procedures applicable to large software systems to include:

• Knowledge of FLCD to included engineering, integration, development, testing and deployment
• Understanding of software discrepancy (DR) investigation and corrections, and deployment support
• Recent System Administration on Linux and/or Windows systems
• Understanding of automated software testing, automated software builds, continuous integration and deployment

Required education and experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer science, Mathematics, Physics or related field (STEM degree) from an accredited university and up to 2 (two) years of prior relevant experience

Desired skills:
AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, Chef, Ansible, Terraform, Atlassian product knowledge (admin perspective), and SQL and NoSQL database engineering and administration
