Position Overview: This customer focused, pro-active, energetic and collaborative role will serve as an Manager, HR Operations within the People Services HR Service Center.   In this role, individuals will function across all business units and will provide HR transactional support and respond to employee and manager ranging from simple policy questions to much more complex issues. Addition, support Senior Manager, People Services for setting up HR Contact Centre in China.

Being involved right from the start, the individual will have a unique opportunity to shape the service and accelerate the continuing development of People Services – a key enabler to China HR.

Responsibilities

  • Support the transfer, stabilization and management of transactional services from BU HR to People Services, including scoping and sizing workload, process optimization, standardization, creation of process documentation, knowledge transfer and manage day today activities.
  • Develop and lead launch communications, ensuring the service is effectively promoted and utilized by all business units.
  • Foster, develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships with customers, COEs, key vendors, and BU HR partners to expedite effective query resolution and accelerate utilization.
  • Act as a key member of the People Services China leadership team, being an advocate for the service and supporting the successful delivery of the wider Global People Services strategy
  • Provide consistent, timely, accurate and customer-focused HR transactional services, data administration and answers to employee’s and manager’s call and email queries, while contributing to the achievement of the People Services’ overall vision and strategy.
  • Review/respond to employee requests according to established processes, policies, company guidelines and regulations.
  • Utilize multiple online systems, such as ServiceNow and Workday to answer questions, troubleshoot issues, complete requests and help resolve employee, manager and HR needs.
  • Review and update existing HR policies/procedures and assist in producing new policies/ procedures in relation to HR Transactional services.
  • Identify, recommend and create content or knowledge articles to be added to the external and internal knowledge base.
  • Utilize our case management system to achieve required service level agreement metrics and overall client satisfaction.
  • Conduct analysis and prepare ongoing HR Transactional reports to effectively administer policies and programs
  • Understand and be compliant with the corporate data protection and confidentiality policies.
  • Work in a team environment to resolve customer questions or issues in broad range of HR matters
  • Actively engage in ACE and support continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Perform any other duties deemed reasonable and necessary by the business

Qualifications and experience

  • Bachelors degree in related discipline and 8 to 10 years of relevant HR experience.
  • Good understanding of evolving HR landscape and demonstrated capability of leading

    organizational change driving innovation.

  • Demonstrable experience of positively influencing and collaborating with business and HR leaders.
  • Experienced in applying ACE principles for continuous improvement concepts
  • Experience in anticipating issues, problem solving and in HR compliances.
  • Ability to be a self-starter and work independently, as well as an effective team player
  • Experience managing data in HRIS systems required; experience using Workday preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-pace and deadline-driven atmosphere
  • Excellent problem solving skills and strong customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to apply analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral) with all levels of the organization. Ability to translate document or communication materials from English to Chinese language.
