Dir, User Experience and Design
This position will be responsible for leading the User Experience and Design work across the Infrastructure organization. Scope of role includes developing end user strategy for desktop, collaboration, productivity, support, and toolkits, to include operating model implementation, with the goal of accelerating adoption and organizational transformation. Additional focus will be on supporting business unit engagement to align strategies, integrate teams, and optimize operations. This role will help to create solutions that enable best-in-class user experiences, whether for external or internal customers.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Develop a scalable user experience model. This includes persona development for each of the major categories of users, feedback mechanisms, CSAT development, and integration with other UX groups across the enterprise. Create and implement a full scale user testing CoE which will own end to end testing for capabilities delivered by the Digital Experience and Collaboration (DEC) team. This includes automated and manual testing. Develop and maintain user capability playbooks that delight the users across the areas in coordination with the other DEC leaders. These playbooks should be based on personas, users’ needs and wants, feedback, and locations. Build a Change Management and Communications CoE for the Infrastrcuture organization that aligns to the Corporate Comms group focused on Change Management across the Infrastructure organization. This requires close collaboration with the BRM team as well as the BUs. Build a culture of collaboration and integration across the combined organization by leading cross-functional engagement across all infrastructure and business unit teams. Formalize processes for cross-team engagement to optimize operations, both internally between infrastructure teams and with the business. With a user focused mindset, employ new security and compliance strategies to mitigate known and anticipated risks. In all areas of responsibility, the incumbent is responsible for providing full compliance with the “Company Policy Statement on Contracting with the United States Government” and the “Company Code of Ethics”, which include, ensuring subordinate staff are aware of the policies and that their responsibilities and actions comply and support these policies. Demonstrated leadership with organizational presence, authority and responsibility to set priorities, track and drive execution.
12 Years Experience with BS or BA Degree in a technical program desired
Or Advanced Degree with 10 years experience desired
Newington, CT or remote with travel to other company locations as required (approx. 30%)
Required Status: US Citizen or US Person required as work may involve visibility to ITAR related projects.
