Role Overview

  • Oversee ongoing and future new product introductions for the Collins Monroe MRO facility

  • Partner with other BU leaders to establish and align strategic plans and objectives

  • Lead matrixed team of engineers, buyers, customer service representatives, cell leaders, and technicians to successfully launch new products for the site

  • Define, prioritize and drive execution of milestone progress in line with strategic plan and annual financial objectives

  • Maintain and manage expense and capital budgets in conjunction with finance team

  • Lead ACE (Achieving Competitive Excellence) value stream mapping and cell design events

  • Coordinate Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) in conjunction with other sites to effectively launch new products

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate effectively in a multi-cultural, multinational environment and mobilize cross-functional high-performance teams.

  • Experience with building teams, strategy deployment and execution, maintaining a high standard of execution.

  • Knowledge of standard operations, financial and business processes.

  • Experience with continuous process improvement and change management.

  • Experience working in a technically driven aerospace, or similar, repair facility.

  • Ability to develop, manage and deliver strategic projects.

  • Effective problem solving.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, especially as applies to coaching and mentorship

  • Experience managing and motivating a diverse team

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of relevant experience OR

  • Advance degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR

  • In absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required

  • Must be a US Citizen
