This position requires touch labor of F135 Material, and physical oversight of processes and training of essential personnel working in Defense Logistics Agency warehouses. This work must be done ON SITE in Oklahoma City - no work from home options are available. Work will primarily be 2nd shift, but must be flexible to shift schedules to meet global customer demand .
This is an exciting opportunity to support the F135 Global Logistics Team to deliver world class logistical support to a multi-service, multi-national fighter engine program. Customer-focused and team centric, the Global Logistics Team is involved in all aspects of operational supply chain support, from property accountability, program compliance initiatives, unit and depot level replenishment, spare material staging and re-distribution, export of spare material to partner nation air forces, and non-serviceable asset processing and scrap demilitarization.
The Global Logistics Team coordinates with Fleet Logistics Specialists (FLS) and 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) for rapid pick/pack/ship of F135 spares, including building and managing deployment spares packages and afloat spares packages for unit level peace time and contingency support operations. The Global Logistics Team serves as primary tactical liaison and Subject Matter Export (SME), providing lean logistical support and streamlined ACE strategies to advance F135 Supply Chain Management (SCM), Program Management and F135 Inventory & Warehousing initiatives. The Global Logistics Manager will need to have expertise in SAP, database management, and be proficient at authoring standard work step instruction and curriculum to train International Inventory Managers and Inventory Specialists.
This team engages in relentless root cause analysis and corrective action to address spare material shortages tied to depot level maintenance activities, assist in planning the expansion of warehousing and distribution of services for the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) US services and international partners, and coordinate with lateral Pratt & Whitney organic business units in continual process improvement of spares provisioning and modeling. Must be ACE Associate or higher - other process improvement credentialing (Green Belt / Black Belt / LEAN / etc.) is welcomed.
The Global Logistics Manager will need to hold an active Secret Clearance and be eligible to go on DoD and NATO installations as part of their duties.
International Travel is required.
Must be JCL 2 trained for International Trade and Compliance / Global Trade / Export of sensitive material / ITAR / technology transfer.
Bachelors Degree is required and +5 Years of SAP and Aviation Logistics experience.
Masters Degree (Preferred) or significant experience in Supply Chain Management / International Business / pedagogical + instructional experience due to significant import / export, legal compliance and curriculum / training responsibilities.
