In this highly visible role, the employee will work directly with the CIPT but for operations to manage industrial risk. Specific Responsibilities Include: • Provide strategic direction for systems, projects, and programs to maximize efficiency of manufacturing and delivering products including internal and external manufacturing sources • Analyze information and evaluate results to recommend best solutions based on data, for sourcing, engineering changes and industrial recoveries • Review production schedules, engineering specifications, orders, and related information to obtain knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures, and activities. • Utilize project management skills to ensure Engineering Changes are implemented without disrupting deliveries to the customer. • Work directly with suppliers and CSMC to ensure the entire Value Stream is meeting production delivery schedule
- Experience / Qualifications 7+ years experience in Operations Management
- Engineering or Program Management with a Master’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering or other related field. 5+ years of experience in Operations Management, Engineering or Program Management with a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering or other related field.
- Team player with good communication skills. Self-motivated and detailed task oriented. Strong strategic leadership and talent development skills. US Citizenship is required
