This Senior Manager position will be responsible for leadinga team of 8 to 15 skilled electrical engineers within the Raytheon Intelligence& Space (RI&S) Electro Optical (EO) Electronics Department. The Senior Managers primary responsibility isto ensure that work scope assigned to team members is compliant to specified performanceand approved cost and schedule requirements for the electronics, firmware andintegration work scope for EO/IR Sensors and Subsystems. Work scope typically includesdigital/processing electronics, power/mechanism electronics, video/high speed processingfirmware and electronics subsystem integration. Also included in the role is the responsibility to provide and useenabling tools, best practices and processes for effective and efficientimplementation of the work scope by team members. The Senior Manager will be responsible toensure development, verification and on-time delivery of quality work products,accurate and approved inputs to business development and growth opportunities,applicable content for Gates and Independent Reviews (IRs), balanced programstaffing and staff retention, and progressive skill growth and careerdevelopment of team members. Business development responsibilities will includegeneration of Basis of Estimate (BOE) to support proposals and Estimate atComplete (EAC) requirements including preparation and presentation of Bid andEAC Review packages to Department and Directorate Leadership. The Senior Manager will interact frequentlywith multi-disciplined team leads, Chief Engineers and Program Managers toensure that team members are meeting the needs of our internal and externalcustomers. Vendor and supplier engagements, as well as travel, may berequired.
Approximately eighty percent (~80%) of the Senior Manager'stime will be committed to program direct work, which may include roles as anIntegrated Product Team Lead (IPTL), individual contributor, technical reviewerand technical lead.
The Senior Manager will need to be a highly effectivecommunicator (both written and verbal), partner, collaborator, leader, and adecision maker as well as an advocate for knowledge and best practice sharing,innovation, productivity improvement and diversity in the work force whilepromoting and enforcing high professional standards. ·Minimum ten (10) years of engineering experience
·Four (4) years of related leadership experienceincluding Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leadership, Engineering FunctionalLeadership, Program Management/Program Office Leadership and/or TechnicalLeadership
·Able to secure a DoD Secret Clearance
·U.S. Citizenship status is required as thisposition needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.

·Minimum ten (10) years of successful executionin all phases of hardware product development, integration, verification,transition to production, production and/or sustainment
·Five (5) years + of recent experienceimplementing/leading product design using Integrated Product DevelopmentSystem/Process (IPDS/IPDP) for electronics hardware including but not limitedto FPGA, digital/high speed processing, analog/power and/or interconnectelectronics products
·Hardware Integration and Test (I&T),Integration/Verification/Validation (IV&V), Transition to Production,Production and Sustainment experience
·Subsystems Engineering (SSE) experience
·Agile product development expertise
·Program Management (PM) Level 6 Certificationand/or Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Certification/BOE Certification
·Current DoD Secret or Top Secret Clearance
·B.S. in Electrical Engineering or other relevantScience, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline
