Job Description: Navigation and Landing Systems Finance is seeking a skilled Finance / Program Controls Principle Analyst to join the finance team of JPALS ACAT-1programs, in Fullerton, CA.
As the Finance / Program Controls lead, the candidate will be responsible for overseeing the primary financial operations in a very dynamic, highly scrutinized, high visibility environment. Responsibilities will include the coordination and implementation of all financial reporting and support in the areas of Financial Program leadership, Proposal support, Program start-up activities, Program Directive Process development, IBRs, JSRs, IPMRs, CSFRs, CSDRs, Unbilled Cash and Aging, Forecasting/Annual Operating Plan/ 5 year planning support, Contract Modifications, Analysis and Integration of a Major Subcontractor financial reporting SDRLs, customer relations, and coordination of 2 FTEs program controls analysts tasking, mentoring, and performance development support of junior program controls staff. In addition, this role will be responsible for providing EVMS guidance and support to the program, compliant with the program instruction, internal EVM policy and 10255, coordinating the successful deployment of the EVMS toolset including APEX EV, and establishing the best approach for reporting/analysis during contract setup and implementation process. This manager will work closely with multifunctional and cross business teams including partnering with the program business managers and the RTN EVMS team.
Required Skills:
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, and analytical and problem solving skills
- Understanding of EVMS cost and schedule integration, and EAC process
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications – including Excel, PowerPoint, & Word
- Experience with SAP/APEX EV Management Systems and tools
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to guide, task and develop team members.
- Ability to engage and impact financial matters with all levels of organization
Desired Skills:
-Experienced in managing direct reports in an ACAT-1D or similar environment.
- Experience in full scope program support (IMP/IMS, complex baseline integration, MS Project interaction, etc.)
Required Education (including Major):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or a related discipline with 6 years related work experience or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related discipline with 4 years related work experience.
