Collins Aerospace is looking for an Assembler II who will be supporting the assembly and manufacture of state of the art business aircraft technology to meet blueprint / engineering tolerances, as well as customer and regulatory requirements.

* Must be willing to travel 50% to Mexicali, Mexico, as a standard part of your work. *

Primary Responsibilities

  • Performs assembly operations and processes.  Assembles & fabricates sheet metal.
  • Reads blueprints, follows written and verbal instructions and performs basic math calculations.
  • Works in a team environment and participates in compliance inspection continuous improvement (CI) activities.
  • Uses basic hand tools, drills, power tools and measuring equipment.
  • Drills holes, installs fasteners, routes and trims parts and applies primers and sealants.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or AA/AS degree or 2-year post high school training with less that 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder.
