POSITION OVERVIEW

Raytheon Technologies Corporate Headquarters is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join the Cybersecurity Identity & Access Management team as the Secure Access Product Manager. This individual will be responsible for strengthening and streamlining our multifactor authentication and privileged access management solutions to ensure stable, scalable, and reliable services to the enterprise and our customers.

This position will require a strong understanding of technologies, processes and data in the Identity & Access Management vertical. The candidate must demonstrate excellent project management and leadership skills to translate product vision into a well sequenced roadmap that evolves as we learn and adjust our business goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Specific responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Lead a team of 2-4 members that will build and deploy RTX multifactor authentication and privileged access management solutions with guidance on how to improve products and services
  • Provide expertise and understanding of the authentication and privileged access landscape working with teams across the organization to design, engineer and expand the service footprint
  • Run complex projects / programs from envisioning through design, development and implementation
  • Lead and participate in planning meetings and provide guidance and expertise in support of strategic company initiatives
  • Partner with other internal or supplier teams as needed (e.g. architecture, security, network, etc)
  • Understand and work with the team to resolve technical and non-technical problems
  • Participate in production support for any Sev 1 / Sev 2 incidents
  • Provide oversight of monitoring, patching, log management, configuration management and related processes
  • Develop documentation, workflow diagrams, and assist with the creation of test scripts
  • Identify and communicate risks and issues and provide recommendations on potential fixes
  • Gain a deep understanding of user experience and interactions with the products supported to identify and fill solution gaps to improve user experience
  • Act as a product evangelist to build awareness of the product capabilities throughout the organization

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of product management or other relevant experience desired
  • Demonstrated ability to build consensus across a variety of key stakeholders as well as business and technology leaders to influence successful outcomes
  • Consistent record of being results oriented with the desire and ability to achieve aggressive goals
  • Experience working directly with designers, developers and QA leads to build, design and iterate on digital products and services
  • Understanding of full software development lifecycle, deployment and architecture
  • Strong quality, time and scope management within IT realm
  • Familiarity with Service Oriented Architecture on internal infrastructure and cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS
  • Good understanding of IAM principles, IT security needs and dev ops processes
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills that are relatable to all levels
  • Superb planning and organizational skills
  • Adaptability and multi-tasking; experience working in a fast moving environment
  • Experience serving as scrum master, project manager and/or product manager on small and large scale technical applications
  • Diligent, disciplined, reliable and strives for highest quality work product
  • Fundemental directory knowledge (Active Directory, LDAP, etc)
  • Strong working knowledge of authentication protocols including oAuth, SAML, Radius, TACACS, Digital certificates, Kerberos, OpenID, FIDO & Biometrics
  • Familiarity with SQL and No-SQL data stores and understanding of their applications; SQL query language familiarity is a plus

Education: 

7 Years Experience with BS or BA Degree in a technical program desired

Or Advanced Degree with 5 years experience desired

Location:

Farmington, CT or Remote Location (US)

Required Immigration Status:

  • US Citizen or US Person required.

Work could involve ITAR-regulated projects.
