Summary of Role:

Reporting to the Workforce Diversity & Talent Lead, the Corporate/Enterprise Services DE&I Lead will work to develop DE&I strategies and programs to institute deeper talent inclusion efforts in support of growing and sustaining a more diverse workforce.  You will serve as a consultative partner to corporate leaders and HR business partners to advance RTX’s diverse and inclusive workforce and workplace in an innovative and thoughtful manner to bring together people with different viewpoints, experiences, and backgrounds to make better business decisions.

This role is about achieving results in a high-stakes environment. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic self-starter, passionate about social impact, who can work cross-functionally in a collaborative environment enterprise-wise.

Job Description:

  • Partner with Corporate C-Suite executives and Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs), formulate an integrated DE&I strategy for each corporate function that is aligned and supportive of the RTX Global DE&I strategy.
  • Translate the broader DE&I workforce diversity strategy into progressive practices and programs that reflect the best expertise in this space - increasing representation, ensuring RTX corporate/enterprise services has an inclusive culture, etc.
  • Support global implementation of programs that raise DE&I awareness, lead corporate programs to ensure equity, cultivate an inclusive culture, improve cultural competence, and a sense of belonging for all corporate employees
  • Use data to institute strategic DE&I programs, practices, and initiatives that accelerate efforts to recruit, develop, and retain a diverse workforce within each corporate function; enable sustainable progress and drive accountability with clear objectives
  • Collaborate with senior executives, HRBPs, and Talent Center of Excellence (COE) to establish and implement talent attraction, development, engagement, and management strategies to support and advance under-represented talent across corporate functions

Minimum requirements:

12 years prior relevant experience with University Degree, Master’s Degree preferred

Experience in designing and/or managing diversity, equity, and inclusion programs and solutions required

  • Trusted Advisor: visible and available to others, with the ability to build and maintain trust and respect
  • Ability to balance big picture, strategic thinking with tactical implementation
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking ability with proven experience in analyzing data, generating insights, and influencing for change
  • Progressive work experience in driving large-scale projects across an organization with demonstrated results
  • Energy and passion to interface effectively with employees at all levels, work collaboratively and partner with purpose
  • Demonstrated business acumen and maturity around managing competing priorities
  • Results oriented and driven with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Extraordinary curiosity and an appetite to think outside the box and have an impact
  • Ability to operate independently and effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong prioritization skills with a results orientated focus.
  • Ability to work efficiently, meet demanding deadlines, and balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work well in teams and collaborate with colleagues.
  • Must be flexible to travel.
  • Extensive technical capabilities such as Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint.
