Summary of Role

The Architecture Portfolio Management position will report to the Infrastructure Architecture, Architecture Assurance lead. This individual will deliver Enterprise Architecture Assurance and Governance processes to enable enterprise digital transformation and standards compliance at scale

Job Duties & Responsibilities  

  • Contribute the architecture model to reflect the organization’s business strategy and goals
  • Define and implement Arch Assurance Process
  • Govern architecture review, approval, and exceptions process, including the Architecture Review Board
  • Define and Govern enterprise technology standards process
  • Develop configuration and change management processes for managing enterprise architectural artifacts including reference architectures, blueprints, and standards
  • Maintain technology standards are aligned and synthesized with the Global Infrastructure and Enterprise Services strategies and business objectives
  • Evaluate and implement architecture tools needed to support Enterprise standards
  • Build strong partnerships across CTO functional teams to maintain focus on operational excellence for critical enterprise services
  • Ensure continuous engagement with Global Infrastructure Services business relationship management in delivering aligned work streams supporting strategic organizational goals
  • Engage stakeholders to drive initiatives and improve the organization’s business performance
  • Develop configuration and change management processes for managing infrastructure service architecture
  • Lead by example for organization to ensure collaborative, high-performing, respectful and inclusive working environment for all leadership and team engagements
  • Provide leadership that facilitates accomplishment of RTX’s Diversity objectives by ensuring support systems and practices are in place to provide all employees the opportunity to contribute to their full potential, by identifying and eliminating the obstacles and barriers, which prevent this from occurring.

Experience/Qualifications

  • Minimum 10+ years operating infrastructure services or equivalent
  • Proven experience of mitigating and resolving assurance findings and communicating findings to relevant stakeholders
  • Proven experience of managing & delivering solution architectures for large scale transformative technology programs
  • Proven experience collaborating across the enterprise to resolve complex technical issues
  • Proven experience in evaluating technical standards and associated impacts

Education

Bachelors Degree +12yrs experience, or Advanced Degree +10yrs experience desired.

Location : Richardson TX, Billerica MA, Newington, CT or remote with travel to other company locations as required (approx. 20%)

Required Status
