The Human Resources function at Raytheon Technologies Intelligence and Space is considered a business partner and valued member of any leadership team. We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Human Resources Partner to support the Engineering function. The HR Partner serves as the face of the HR function, building credibility throughout the organization. This is an opportunity to provide strategic and hands-on leadership in all areas of Human Resources management, including talent development, performance management, compensation, employee relations, talent acquisition, change management, diversity, equity and inclusion, and workforce data analytics.

The successful candidate will implement HR strategies and solutions to meet the needs of a diverse, geographically-dispersed population. Key to success in this role is the ability to provide strategic problem solving, drive initiatives and projects to completion, and effectively interact with leaders and employees at all levels of the organization. This role supervises one HR Generalist.

Location: El Segundo, Aurora, or Dallas area

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Partner with business leaders to assess, architect and drive organizational change to achieve leader and organizational maximum effectiveness
  • Ensure Talent Acquisition and Talent Development needs are met with appropriate and timely support and resources in collaboration with the HR team
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to front, mid and senior-level leaders and advocate to employees
  • Advocate and resolve management and employee issues and concerns through effective coaching, conducting internal investigations, and implementing corrective actions, and escalating issues when warranted
  • Execution of critical HR processes, including compensation, performance management, talent acquisition, talent development and workforce planning
  • Lead, develop and support the success of HR Generalist
  • Leverage organizational effectiveness tools to assess organization performance and improve team and leader effectiveness
  • Collaborate across HR and Business stakeholders to execute HR initiatives and processes that support strategic business decisions
  • Leverage the available HR tools and experts to develop meaningful data analytics that guide business decision making
  • Embrace and model Raytheon Technologies core values, integrity and accountability to further advance the organizational culture

Typically Required Skills:
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of Human Resources experience, including employee relations and investigations, compensation planning, performance management, talent development and talent acquisition
  • Excellent team building skills, self-motivated and able to operate independently with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced, high volume environment
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and remain flexible in the face of changing priorities
  • Creative problem solver with strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-up skills
  • Must possess excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the HR strategic partnership in driving business results
  • Strong change management skills and the ability to successfully partner with managers to drive change across the organization
  • Must be able to work with all levels of the organization and maintain high levels of confidentiality and discretion
  • Knowledge of applicable state and federal employment, labor and compliance requirements
  • Proficient knowledge and experience using Microsoft applications, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems
  • Experience working in a geographically dispersed environment

Desired Skills:
  • Experience in driving results through others
  • Previous experience working for a government defense contractor
  • Experience using Workday or other HR Planning Tools
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
Desired Education:
Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
