The Secured Sensor Solutions Mission Area within the Systems Engineering Center is seeking committed engineering leaders who are passionate about creating innovative and cost-effective solutions for the warfighter. This highly dynamic environment requires both speed and efficiency in addition to maintaining product quality, functionality and traceability. Applicants are expected to be self-motivated, detail oriented and a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management and individual contributors on the program team through strong written and verbal communication skills.

This position is for a Systems Engineer that will support the integration, testing, troubleshooting, verification, and validation activities within the F-15 Department.

Job Description:
The engineer will s
upport system-level integration and testing, including performance, functional, interface, environmental, and qualification testing. They will also develop/execute test plans, procedures, and scripts as well as utilize/configure Special Test Equipment (STE) and radar hardware to verify program requirements. The successful engineer will develop a strong foundation in Systems Engineering principles and will need to learn radar modes and functions.

Required Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Mathematics or any other related STEM field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in one or more of the following technical domains: airborne radars, integration and test, or verification
  • Experience working with test equipment (signal generator, spectrum analyzer, attenuators, etc.) and/or simulators
  • Must have an Active Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
  • Masters Degree in Science, Technology, Mathematics or any other related STEM field
  • Understanding of Systems Engineering Product Development Cycle
  • Work or academic experience in radar design, development, integration and test
  • Strong communication and leadership skills including effective written, verbal, and listening skills
  • Work experience interacting with multidisciplinary teams of system design professionals including electrical, mechanical, software and logistics engineers
  • Able to effectively perform multiple tasks and prioritize actions

Required Education:
Bachelor of Science degree in a related STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics)

Desired Education:
Advanced degree in a related STEM discipline

This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
