Are you ready to go beyond?
Provide technical & analytical support for structures on military fan modules, with responsibility for the durability and structural integrity of engine components. Specific structural engineering specialties may include static and dynamic stress analysis of airfoils, rotors, and cases, and fatigue and fracture mechanics assessments.
Analyses may include both classical methods and detailed FEA.
Independently execute discrete tasks with strategic guidance from senior engineers, supporting tasks from from preliminary and detailed design through engine development, and validation
Participate on multi-discipline teams to provide design solutions that balance customer requirements for durability, performance, cost and weight.
Coordinate with others to advance the technology and improve engineering standard work processes/methods, plus document and present results to team and customers.
BS Degree Engineering
2+ years of engineering experience or structural analysis
US Citizenship required due to government contracts
Ability to maintain a security clearance
MS Degree in Engineering
