The Financial Support Analyst will provide full financial support to Military Development Programs SRS/STP in the following areas:

  • Work with program management and control account managers to support the data preparation for monthly contract deliverables

  • Participate in the development of budgets to ensure the proper implementation of Earned Value Management (EVM)

  • Preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual contract financial reports

  • Support monthly financial meetings and Estimate-At-Completion (EAC) reviews

  • Monitor program spending to ensure budgets are met

  • Support planning of programs and measurement of the program execution

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration required

  • US Citizenship required (due to Government contract requirements)

  • 3+ years of experience with Government contracting and knowledge of the FAR and DFAR

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree in Finance or Accounting preferred

  • 5+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting with a mix of project management and knowledge of Earned Value Management within a Defense or Government contractor or Aerospace environment

  • You presently hold a current US DoD clearance or will commit to obtain and maintain a clearance as a condition of employment

  • Excellent leadership, communication, problem solving, analytical, prioritization and multi-tasking skills

  • Ability to work with all levels of management and communicate effectively with peers, customers and clients

  • Operational Excellence (OpEx), Six-Sigma, Continuous Improvement, or Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Associate Certification preferred along with a proven track record of cost savings and continuous improvement accomplishments

  • Highly motivated person, self-starter who enjoys a dynamic work environment and overcoming challenges

  • Expert written and verbal skills with ability communicate in a straightforward manner

  • Highly adaptable team oriented leader with excellent interpersonal skills and cultural awareness

  • Well organized person, able to plan detailed projects and to use written, verbal, and analytical skills to influence business objectives

  • Highly self-directed and able to learn quickly with a strong ability to drive and deliver results

  • You are comfortable working Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. SAP experience preferred
