The engine program that powers the F-35 has an opening for a motivated, self-starting Hardware Customer Support Engineer. As part of Military Customer Support & Services, duties include support of Field Customers at Base and Depot Locations across three different military services and multiple international customers.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely responses to numerous technical questions to ensure uninterrupted daily flight operations.
  • Author presentations, logistics assessments, Position Papers, respond to daily MERLIN responses, and Action Requests (AR).
  • Create maintenance awareness briefings, and support engineering investigations, coordinating with government customers.
  • Coordinate technical issue resolution among PW CIPT, Logistics Program Management, and JPO customer.
  • Support monthly safety meeting reporting any impacts to the fleet.
  • Support reliability meetings to report on reliability issues.
  • Duties also include providing Joint Technical Data (JTD) Updates pertaining to customer requests and Engineering Changes (EC) for Unit and Depot level maintenance. 
  • You will also be required to assist with improving and updating standard work. 
  • Willingness/ability to work second shift

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field required.
  • A minimum of 7+ plus years of experience working in an engineering related job required
  • US Citizenship is required due to government contracts.
  • Willingness/ability to work second shift

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Jet engine assembly and engine shop maintenance experience
  • Engine Hardware Experience
  • Demonstrated ability for solving problems
  • Strong work ethic
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Security clearance is a plus, but not required.
