Job Description :
Exciting opportunity in Raytheon Intelligence and Space (RIS) as an electrical engineer based in McKinney, Texas, with responsibilities having significant impact, recognition, and growth in the organization. The engineer will have responsibility for the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge Active Electronically Scanned Antennas (AESA) with Digital Beamforming (DBF). The engineer will reside within the Hardware Engineering Center (HWEC) Antenna Core Products (ACP) department headquartered in Dallas, Texas. The HWEC ACP department is responsible for full-scope Independent Design, Verification & Validation (IV&V) solutions for antenna products, including architecture trades, design, development, integration, deployment, and sustainment of antenna systems and associated integrated system verification solutions. The engineer will implement best practice standards with regard to the planning, coordination, and execution of AESA design and modeling with sound engineering process discipline and leadership. The successful candidate will have a solid foundation and experience in antenna engineering with specific knowledge in the development and integration of DBF Arrays in the near-field and far-field range environment.

Required Skills:
•Minimum of 8 years related work experience
•Knowledge of RF and electromagnetic fundamentals
•Antenna Range Test Integration and Development for both Near-field and Far-field ranges
•Solid understanding and experience in range testing of digital phased arrays
•Solid understanding and experience in electrical engineering of phased arrays
•Direct experience working with digital transceivers (ADC/DAC)
•Direct experience in Phased Array antenna theory
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)

Desired Skills:
•Minimum of 12 years related work experience
•Familiarity with Ansys HFSS, Keysight ADS, Keysight SystemVue, and MATLAB
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Required Education: Electrical Engineering Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience, or Master’s degree and 6 years of experience, or a PhD and 4 years of experience.


U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.

This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
