This position is in charge of directing the development of company requirements & demonstrations to meet US Navy and other service level CJADC2 efforts. This includes the development of product, systems and solution-based strategies, requirements analysis, and "Real, win, worth" analysis. Leads the development and execution of Senior Leader Engagements, pursuit strategies and marketing opportunities in support of plans and product / system / solution positioning designed to demonstrate integrated solutions at service level events, Large Force Exercises and MAJCOM/COCOM supported Exercises. Supports LCVS business plan development and execution. Reduces broad concepts and strategic initiatives into operationally relevant demonstration working with cross-functional Program Manager and Engineering teams. The ideal candidate would be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with a strong background in US Navy warfighting CONOPS specific to Combined, Joint All Domain Command and Control (C-JADC2) and Department of Defense (DoD) and military services integration efforts. Deep understanding of networking in the Joint and Coalition environment desired. Candidates should have a thorough understanding of the US DoD program requirements, Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) processes, and be comfortable interacting with DoD subject matter experts in all areas of the acquisition process.

Primary Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will:

  • Work and lead Business Development and SME efforts with cross-functional Program Manager and Engineering teams leading to demonstrations and strategies to show integrated solutions across the Collision portfolios

  • Represent the JADC2 Experimentation & Demonstration team as the Naval subject matter expert (SME) on multi- domain, joint and coalition networked operations, Command and Control, Air Battle Management in support of the Defense Department warfighting initiatives

  • Contribute to strategy development within the LVCSM triad to shape, define, pursue and capture new business in the JADC2 market

  • Be responsible for developing, forecasting, and capturing new/existing opportunities and maintaining relationships with new and existing military service customers

  • Develop, present and articulate compelling business growth opportunities that include market and competitive analysis, and price to win strategies via decision point reviews

  • Continually explore the environment for business and strategic growth opportunities

  • Prepare and support company profiles on competitors and potential acquisition candidates, including financial analyses, as well as Strategic Financial Plans and Annual Operations Planning

  • Bring vast experience and professional networks with senior internal and external personnel in areas of expertise

  • Coalition networked operations in support of the Defense Department warfighting initiatives

  • Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on matters often requiring coordination between organizations

  • Comfortable working on problems of diverse scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of multiple factors

  • Demonstrate sound judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions, where erroneous decisions or failure to achieve objectives would have a serious impact on the organization

  • Function with minimal supervision on day-to-day work and general instructions on new assignments

  • Willing to travel 30%

The business is based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and open to remote working.

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of relevant experience OR

  • Advance degree and 7 years of relevant experience OR

  • In absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience is required

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

  • Maintains or is eligible for US DoD Top Secret security clearance.

Preferred  Requirements

  • Experience at the military Service level in organizations such as CJCS, Naval Staff, USN OPNAV, FLEET/TYCOM/MAJCOM/CECOM highly desired.

  • Strong, demonstrated background in military & US Navy C2 structure and networks, and Strike and ISR technologies at the Operational and Tactical Levels of warfare.

  • Professional verbal and writing, presentation skills mandatory.

  • Multi-Domain Command and Control/Battle Space Experience/Operational Experience a Plus

  • Passion to lead and grow the business.

  • Demonstrated experience in in Microsoft Office products and/or SaleForce CRM tool.
