Role Overview
This position is for a Sales professional with significant DoD experience. Specific emphasis is placed on Navy/Marine Corps programs as well as Navy/Marine Corps acquisition process knowledge. This position will implement customer contact plans and sales strategies. Role entails communication with senior sales leaders regarding sales forecasting, achieving targets, and resource planning. Position will seek to enhance customer relationships through active engagement and a deep understanding of their operational and sustainment requirements. This lead will need to have strong interpersonal skills to promote cross-business unit strategy/collaboration and ultimately deliver results.

Primary Responsibilities
• Acts as primary contact with Navy and Marine Corps customers. Develops a professional

relationship with the purpose of understanding and addressing customer needs.

·Forecast, prospects, develops, and grows the business. Leads in the selling of products, logistic services, and sustainment capabilities to achieve sales targets.

·Oversees the management of existing customer relationships while ensuring potential new customers are generated through evaluation of white space opportunities.

·Establishes and manages longstanding and strategic customer relationships.

·Collaborates with marketing resources and the sales leadership team to define overall sales strategies and to develop products and solutions responsive to the customer’s business.

·Participates with internal team members on proposal development as well as the presentation of proposals as needed. Determines price-to-win, negotiates value, addresses customer resistance, and assists in closing large/complex sales.

·Provides input on competitive analysis, channel to market, and environmental factors leading to development of customer driven strategies.


·US Citizenship w/ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Clearance

·Prior DoD experience

·Professional and well-spoken presentation skills

·Willingness to travel domestic and internationally 40%

Basic Qualifications

·Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and 7 years of relevant experience or an Advanced degree in the appropriate discipline and 5 years of relevant experience.In the absence of a degree, 11 years of relevant experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications

·Experience in military and Navy/Marine CorpsArmy aviation operations, maintenance, acquisition, and sustainment

·Understands competitive environment in relation to Navy/Marine Corps avionics and mission systems

·Understands the DoD acquisition process
