Currently, we have a fantastic opportunity for an Industry Engagement Manager to join our Contracts & Supply Chain team.

As our Industry Engagement Manager, you will be the company lead for the development and implementation of the company’s Australian Industry Capability (AIC) plan and will act as the focal point and lead author for the development of all company AIC Plans and monitoring of performance against approved plans.

You will work closely with a broad range of stakeholders to help develop strategies, requirements and resources related to the implementation of AIC Plans. You will also work closely with the Industry Development Unit (IDU) to develop and foster relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide input into the development of the AIC strategy for the company.
  • Develop AIC plans and engage with internal stakeholders to ensure their successful implementation across the business.
  • Support the identification, development and implementation of research and development (R&D) collaboration opportunities, including relationships with academia and Defence Innovation Hub proposals.
  • Represent the company to develop and foster strong, collaborative relationships both internally and externally.
Skills, Experiences and Qualifications:
  • Established networks within Australian industry and government.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years experience in Defence industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in development of strategic supplier relationships.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting customer requirements and meeting time critical deadlines.
  • Knowledge of the Australian industry policy framework.
