The candidate will provide engineering support and technical direction for the execution of a portion of the program’s test program, test processes including baseline definition, test architecture design, verification and validation. Candidates will be responsible for definition and execution of formal testing and regression testing across deliverable releases to the program baseline for their technical scope - driving program performance; coordination with the test manager of the test products, schedules and resources.

The selected candidate must exhibit ingenuity, creativity and resourcefulness to solve particularly complex problems involving a diverse set of engineering disciplines. The Integration & Test Engineer must have integration and test expertise, and be capable of developing a strong rapport within the Raytheon TBD program and the customer community.


Required Skills:
  • 5+ years demonstrated experience and knowledge of the systems engineering lifecycle to include:
    • System integration and test planning and implementation for large scale systems using state-of-the-art technology
    • Technical Baseline Management
    • Management and integration of COTS/FOSS
    • Development of test architecture/framework
    • Preparation and reporting of program plans, schedules and metrics
    • Specification of test verification requirements
    • Review and approval of integration and test procedures and plans
    • Use of discrepancy report systems and developing closure plans
    • Ability to the identify, manage, and mitigate technical risk
  • Experience developing test procedures that exercise interfaces external to the ground system being tested
  • Experience testing Command and Control software running on Windows and Linux based operating systems
  • Experience integrating, troubleshooting, problem isolation of software and hardware based systems
  • Experience developing test procedures and tools that capture performance based metrics in support of requirement sell-off
  • Experience transitioning newly deployed systems to the operations teams
  • Experience working across product teams in a complex multiple stakeholder environment
  • Strong desire to learn, take initiative and contribute in a team-oriented environment
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle models (waterfall and Agile)
  • Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance

Desired Skills:
  • Systems Integration and/or Test Engineering experience on a large government software development contract
    Experience in Systems Engineer process development and deployment
  • Experience working in an Agile or DevOps development environment, being part of a highly integrated team working closely with Software, Systems Engineer, Integration and Verification teams
  • Experience as a Product Owner or Scrum Master
  • Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using DOORS, Enterprise Architect and JIRA or similar tools

Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree is required. STEM degree is preferred. Along with 5+ years of relevant experience - OR
  • Master’s Degree STEM preferred with 3+ years of relevant experience

“In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $70,000 to $150,000; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.”187455
