RIS is seeking an experienced Configuration Manager to lead a team responsible for the configuration management of a program baseline, and engineering functional key team members across multiple programs.

The Configuration Manager will:

Plan, implement, and develop the tasking for configuration controlling the program infrastructure and software baselines
Guide the team responsible for executing tasks and as needed provide technical support to complex issues
Coordinate the release and delivery of infrastructure and software baselines to factory test and operational environments
Prioritize team tasking in accordance with program priorities
Communicate status to functional and program team members
Develop career and performance of CM/DM personnel, conducting semi-annual performance reviews and addressing performance issues
Support the flow down, application, and compliance of Company and RIS Engineering organizational requirements

This position requires the candidate to work in a fast paste environment in which evolving program priorities dictate team member task priority. The candidate must be comfortable communicating in both oral and written formats.

Required Skills:

Minimum 8 years of experience in configuration management, software configuration management, or hardware configuration management

•Minimum 6 years of experience with a software version control tool. Examples include ClearCase, BitBucket, GIT, Rational Team Concert, or Subversion
•Minimum 6 years of experience shell scripting in LINUX, Unix, or Windows
•MS Office/Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Desired Skills:

•PERL, Python, ANT, Gradle, Jenkins, Ruby, Artifactory
Product Data Management (PDM)

Required Education:

Bachelor's Degree in related discipline or in lieu of Bachelor's degree, candidate may also possess an Associate's degree with 12 years' related experience OR High school Diploma with 16 years' of related
