**This particular position will be staffed in Annapolis Junction, MD only.**
As a Sr. Information Systems Technologist II you will be an integral part of our Engineering organization. For this specific job assignment you will join a dedicated team providing mission critical support services to the US Government. In this role you will be designing and developing software for a new mission application. This application will provide a capability to maintain information that is currently being managed via spreadsheets, and provide an API to other systems to update the data.
For this specific assignment you will be the sole software developer. As such, the job requires someone who is a self-starter and can work with minimal supervision.
- Minimum of 7 years with software development lifecycle experience.
- Requires a self-starter that can function as a sole team member.
- Must be able to work with customers to define requirements and then implement them.
- Full stack developer.
- Strong Java experience.
- Experience with SQL (particularly PostgreSQL).
- Strong LINUX skills.
- Within the last 7 years, a minimum of 5 years' experience designing, coding, testing, and debugging software to run under either Microsoft Windows (XP or later) or UNIX (Solaris 8 or later, Redhat LINUX) Operating System.
- Strong work ethics and focused developer with high productivity.
Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly clearance
U.S. Citizenship status is required. This position requires an active U.S. Security Clearance on the first day of employment.
- Experience with PHP.
- Experience with Atlassian Tools (JIRA, Confluence).
- BS degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM), or related field.
This position requires a U.S. person or the ability to obtain an Export Authorization from the appropriate government agency for non-U.S. persons.
