As the Quality Manager – Commercial and Regional Programs, you will lead a team of Program Quality Engineers who drive quality compliance and improvements for landing gear product.
Actively manage and direct all quality initiatives and requirements in support of landing gear programs for various customers
Develop and sustain trust based relationship with on-site and other customer representative(s) as the primary focal
Support customer program reviews, off-site meetings etc with all levels of Landing Systems and Customer leadership
Supports the product introduction process, test plans, methods and equipment to assure compliance with regulatory, internal and customer specifications.
Provides day to day leadership to a team of Program Quality Engineers including mentoring, coaching, and training, recruiting, performance management and employee development.
Performs product and process audits/reviews and implements improvement actions.
Leads root cause tool application and drives product and process corrective actions implementation for manufactured and supplied products.
Reviews quality data and determines if all products and processes are aligned with regulatory, internal and customer specifications.
Accountable for the customer quality scorecard results and improvement actions, and maintains quality system and product documentation.
Manage customer escapes to support achieving zero significant customer escapes, reducing customer escape events and Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ).
Manage and drive all necessary actions for obtaining and maintaining appropriate product certifications needed for industry purposes
Support the Quality system audit process.
Drive Landing Systems Quality and ACE initiatives

Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR
Advance degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR
In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required
Minimum 10 years of related aerospace, automotive or medical device experience is required.
Bachelor's degree in a Engineering or other relevant technical discipline.
Minimum 5 years of management experience, ideally in a quality leadership role.
Experience leading an AS9100 QMS (or equivalent)
Ability to thrive in a fast paced, manufacturing environment.
Strong people management and organization skills.
Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma experience is strongly preferred.
ASQ CQE certification and/or applied application of SPC, 6 sigma and lean principles are preferred.
Familiarity and experience with the application of APQP-D/PFMEA and control plans is required.
