The HR Project Manager will oversee the HR strategy for future RTX growth at the Pratt & Whitney Puerto Rico (PWPR) site. This role will work closely with the HR site leader to define and articulate business needs and translate them into HR strategy. Incumbent will collaborate with HR Partners across all RTX business units on client management activities, counsel on Puerto Rico labor legislation in support of investigations and oversee HR related processes pertaining to the RTX growth at the site. Incumbent will also manage relationships with the project team and will work across multiple HR disciplines to execute project milestones. The HR Project Manager will need to have a deep understanding of all aspects of HR at the management level with the vision, planning ability, and drive to generate positive change in as efficient a way as possible.

  • Manage PWPR HR projects aligned with organizational goals and in support of site growth                         

  • Be a positive disruptor while balancing competing priorities and influencing stakeholders

  • Manage site transition projects and ensure complete implementation in alignment to the U.S. processes

  • Maintain communication with all key stakeholders in a timely and consistent manner

  • Conduct a regular project reporting mechanism (daily, weekly, and monthly) for key milestones to ensure the project stays on track

  • Track and monitor project progress and escalate business risks to the site HR leader

  • Identify HR improvement opportunities and make recommendations to leaders and project team

  • Partner with U.S. based HR Partner’s in site related matters

  • Counsel U.S. based HR Partners and managers on local legislation, interpreting regulations when managing employee relations matters

  • Partner with HR Site Lead on Business Continuity Plans (BCP) across all RTX companies in PR

  • Represent PWPR HR team in meetings

  • Partner with the communications manager on information flow down to employees related to changes in policies, procedures, and processes

  • Attend and have participation in group meetings, teleconferences and/or required trainings.

  • Actively participate in initiatives for continuous improvement using ACE/ CORE tools and support AS9100 efforts. Obtain ACE/ CORE Associate certification.

  • Based on business needs, the incumbent may be required to support other duties/functions within the company.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Administration, Psychology or related field

  • Completely Bilingual-English and Spanish (verbal and written)

  • 8+ years of Human Resources and Administrative experience or 5+ years with an advance degree

  • Knowledge in Puerto Rico Labor Laws

  • 3+ years of experience in project management, HR processes and workstreams

  • US Citizenship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Human Resources, Administration, Psychology or related field

  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint. MS Teams)

  • Excellent communication, analytical and presentation skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Ability to influence and lead others

  • Time management
